Adult Duodenal ulcer 15 mg once daily for 4 wk. Maintenance of healed duodenal ulcer: 15 mg once daily.
H. pylori eradication to reduce risk of duodenal ulcer recurrence Triple-therapy: 30 mg bd + amoxicillin 1 g bd + clarithromycin 500 mg bd for 10-14 days. Dual-therapy: 30 mg tds + amoxicillin 1 g tds for 14 days.
Benign gastric ulcer 30 mg once daily for up to 8 wk.
NSAID-associated gastric ulcer Healing: 30 mg once daily for 8 wk. Risk reduction: 15 mg once daily for up to 12 wk.
Symptomatic GERD 15 mg once daily for up to 8 wk.
Erosive esophagitis 30 mg once daily for up to 8 wk.
Maintenance of healing of erosive esophagitis 15 mg once daily.
Pathological hypersecretory conditions including Zollinger-Ellison syndrome 60 mg once daily.
Childn 12-17 yr Non-erosive GERD 15 mg once daily for up to 8 wk.
Erosive esophagitis 30 mg once daily for up to 8 wk.
Childn 1-11 yr, >30 kg Short-term treatment of symptomatic GERD & erosive esophagitis 30 mg once daily for up to 12 wk,
≤30 kg Short-term treatment of symptomatic GERD & erosive esophagitis 15 mg once daily for up to 12 wk.
